It goes without saying: the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic has been far-reaching. Businesses worldwide have experienced COVID-related disruptions—some of which are less obvious than others. ZooMontana can attest to as much.
As a non-profit Zoo and botanical garden, ZooMontana’s 70-acre wildlife park in Billings, Montana, does not receive public tax support. Instead, its operating expenses are covered primarily through admission sales and fundraising events. That’s why last year was particularly difficult—and why ZooMontana could use a little help in 2021.
The Zoo was forced to cancel its premier fundraising event, A Wild Affair, in 2020. This year, however, the gala will go on! A Wild Affair will be held on August 13 at ZooMontana. Limited to only 150 guests, this elegant evening includes a strolling cocktail hour through the Zoo, dinner, silent and live auctions, plus memorable animal encounters.
